“The world will be saved by beauty,” says Maxim Gorky, and the great master Sait Faik Abasıyanık adds, “Everything will begin with loving a human being.”

Is having a child about looking to the future with hope, longing for a better world with more meaningful reasons, or even trying to understand why we exist? Or is it simply an instinct to reproduce? Why do we insist on having a child? Is this insistence a bit childish — or is it precisely that childlike feeling that will make the world more beautiful?

It is a complex emotion… But one day, you have a child and you realize: until that day, you had neither truly cried nor truly rejoiced; neither truly worried nor truly felt excitement…

When your baby cries in your arms because of a tiny gas pain, you find yourself praying so sincerely for relief — perhaps the most heartfelt prayer you’ve ever made. You realize that the magnificent villa with a pool you once dreamed of owning is worth less than your child’s comfort. And one day, when you hear the word “mother” from their innocent voice, you understand that no poem or song in the world could ever be more beautiful…

Ms. Bilge and the Principle of Her Life

Bilge Yılmaz married the love of her life, Ajlan Yılmaz, 9 years ago. As one of the two daughters of the Nalbantoğlu family, her greatest wish was to have a child. After marriage, due to unavoidable health issues, she gained weight. To become a mother, she first needed to lose weight. As a conscious and determined mother-to-be, she sought professional support and, after partially losing weight, began searching for ways to achieve her dream through IVF treatment.

Unfortunately, three attempts at two different centers did not result in success.
