Our dear Aslı Hanım, a mother of two sweet daughters, emphasizes that mothers need to take good care of themselves for the healthy development of their children, saying: “I learned through experience that as long as the mother is happy, the children are happier.” Let’s share in their story…

What did you feel when you first held your children?

I will never forget the first moment I saw my daughters and their scent. When I first held them, I thanked God countless times. I wished for their lives to be filled with goodness and kind people. My mother used to say that being a mother means always worrying—I didn’t understand it until I held my first baby.

Can you tell us about your pregnancy and birth process?

Both of my pregnancies went very smoothly thanks to my doctor, Refik Keleş. He always informed us in detail and never left any questions unanswered. Despite my excitement, both births went very well thanks to the professionalism of the medical team.

What is it like being a working mother? How do you spend time with your children?

Being a working mother teaches you how to manage time effectively. Children also adapt to this. I continued my career because I thought I might regret it otherwise. Although it can be tiring at times, I learned that as long as the mother is happy, the children are happier.

What would be the best Mother’s Day gift for you?

İrenbe had already given me the greatest gift—motherhood. Before becoming a mother, my husband used to celebrate me as a “mother-to-be,” but now I know that being a mother is the most beautiful feeling in the world. Honestly, the best gift is my daughters hugging me tightly and being with me.

Finally…

I would like to thank the İRENBE team for their thoughtful gestures. This year’s Mother’s Day became more meaningful with you. So glad you exist…

Why İRENBE?

For me, İRENBE means unconditional hope and trust. With its successful and warm team, I always felt supported.
