• Born in Izmir in 1960.
• She completed her primary and secondary education in Izmir.
• She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine.
• After compulsory service, she started her pediatrics specialization at Dr. Behcet Uz Children's Hospital. After becoming a specialist, she worked mostly
• in the neonatal unit, as well as in various other units of the same hospital, and retired in 2006.
• Since 2002, she has been working at Irenbe as a Child Health and Diseases Specialist.   

She is married and the mother of 2 children.
