The acquaintance and friendship between the Tekiner Family and İRENBE goes back many years. Despite the passing of time, they have always held a very special and unique place for us. Dear Ms. Ahu, the mother of Sarp and Selin, who says that motherhood is the most beautiful feeling in the world, opened her heart to us with complete sincerity.
What kind of feeling is motherhood?
Motherhood is the most beautiful feeling in the world. In my opinion, there is absolutely no better feeling. Our children are like angels whom we love unconditionally and from whom we receive even more love in return. I hope everyone who wishes for it experiences this feeling.
What changed in your life after becoming a mother?
My children became my top priority. I cannot remember how I used to spend my time before them. My children are more important than anything to me. We plan everything according to them so they can grow up happy, successful, and well-educated.
What did you feel when you first held your children in your arms?
The feeling I experienced when I first held my children was great happiness. At first, it all felt like a miracle. I couldn’t believe that I had become a mother and had such beautiful babies. Then, with maternal instinct, my protective feelings were activated. On the first nights after my son and daughter were born, I couldn’t trust anyone and stayed awake all night checking if they were breathing.
Every mother has dreams for her children. What are your wishes and hopes for your children?
First of all, I want my children to be very happy. I hope they live where they are happy, do jobs that make them happy, and have partners who make them happy. I wish they have kind-hearted children like themselves. Life is too short to be sad; everything is beautiful when you are happy. As long as I live, I will always do my best to ensure my children’s happiness.
How did you meet İRENBE? What does it mean to you?
I met İrenbe in 1994 at the birth of my close friend’s daughter. The births of my son Sarp, born in February 2002, and my daughter Selin, born in December 2007, were also performed by our dear doctor Refik Keleş. My husband and I went to all check-ups with great happiness. The positive energy, sincerity, and trust they provide cannot be found anywhere else. All the staff, especially manager Ms. Nurten and our doctor Mr. Refik, have a very special place in our hearts. In fact, our son Sarp’s middle name is “Refik.”
