• She was born in Ankara in 1965.
• She graduated from Karsiyaka Gazi High School as the top student in 1982.
• She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine as the fifth-ranking student in 1988.
• In 1995, through the TUS exam, she began her specialization training at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, which was her first choice.
• Between 1992 and 1994, she completed a Clinical Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Sydney Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Sydney IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) Center, and a Research Fellowship at the University of Sydney. In the second year of this period (1993-1994), she lectured 5th-year medical students at the University of Sydney on Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility within Obstetrics and Gynecology courses, organized and managed the weekly scientific meeting on “Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility,” and organized and implemented the “Hysteroscopy Outpatient Clinic.” In 1993, her work was awarded the “Young Scientist Best Research First Prize” by the Fertility Society of Australia.
• In 1995, she completed her specialization training at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• In 1995, she started working as a Specialist Doctor at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She became an Assistant Professor in 1996 and an Associate Professor in 2000.
• In 2009, she transferred to Balikesir University Faculty of Medicine as a Professor and served as the founding chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Between 2009 and 2012, she served as Head of the Department of Surgery. She took part in the education of many students and residents. In 2014, she retired while serving as Head of the Department.

She speaks English and German, and has more than 100 published works in Türkiye and abroad, as well as 1 international book chapter, 2 national book chapters, and 12 national translated book chapters.

She is married and the mother of one daughter.
