She waited a full nine years for what she described as “the highest honor every woman longs to achieve” — motherhood. She lost her first baby in her womb, but she did not give up. After trying natural pregnancy and insemination, her final stop became İrenbe. Now, let’s read the details of this story with a happy ending, written in her own words…
What do you think is the greatest achievement a woman can reach? A successful career? Becoming the best in your profession? Breaking world records as an athlete? Winning all awards as an artist? Or having a perfect marriage? Loving deeply and being loved just as much… The list goes on, doesn’t it? It may differ from person to person, but there is one shared goal for almost every woman: motherhood. I have reached the highest honor I could ever achieve in this life — I became a mother.
Yes, it was a very difficult journey. For no woman is this process easy. Beyond the physical changes, the emotional transformation reshapes you completely. And perhaps IVF mothers experience it even more intensely.
Being able to tell your loved ones “I’m pregnant” is such a privilege. Many of us fought for months, even years, to share that news. Without giving up, enduring all challenges, ignoring criticism, taking countless medications and injections without complaint… We moved forward toward our goal. Some of us paused due to exhaustion, others pushed harder with every setback. But we all had one common purpose: becoming a mother.
Let me share a bit of my journey. I got married in 2006. After four years, we wanted a baby, but I couldn’t conceive. Doctors said there was no issue. We first tried natural methods, then insemination — but it failed. Later, I became pregnant, but at 11 weeks I lost my baby. The pain was indescribable… You question yourself endlessly.
Then came another struggle — a large cyst that required surgery. After surgery, I entered temporary menopause. I needed to get pregnant quickly…
Then, by chance, we met İrenbe and Dr. Kaan Bozkurt. That moment changed everything. We decided on IVF. After tests and preparation, eggs were collected, embryos were frozen, and transfer was done.
The waiting period felt endless… Until I received the most beautiful message of my life:
“We don’t give good news over the phone.”
I realized — I was pregnant.
The journey wasn’t over. At 13 weeks, I was hospitalized with pulmonary embolism. It was terrifying. But with my doctor’s guidance, we continued. I gave myself daily injections until after birth.
Despite everything, my pregnancy went smoothly afterward. And finally, on April 15, 2015, at 12:08… my son was born.
At that moment, everything changed. The cold operating room turned into heaven. A tiny human — soft, warm, with a scent unlike anything in the world — made me a mother.
Now, we grow together. We learn together. And as a mother who has lived this journey, I say this to everyone:
Never give up. Believe in your miracle. One day, you will hold that tiny life in your arms.
With love…
