Hello, I am writing these lines from far away to once again express my endless thanks to the İrenbe Family. I cannot describe my gratitude especially to my doctor, Ms. Ümit, and the nurses.

I am a woman who became a mother at the age of 40, and who, when asked as a child what I wanted to be when I grew up, would say “I will be a mother.” For years it didn’t happen. I went to many doctors in Switzerland but could not get a positive result.

One day my mother told me about İrenbe. She had heard about it from a family who had a baby thanks to İrenbe. My husband and I decided to try.

At first, we thought a difficult process awaited us. Since we were living in another country, we were worried about how check-ups and similar things would work, but something inside us told us to try.

We came for our first check-up in January 2014. I remember it like yesterday—the smiling face of my doctor, the motivation and morale she gave us, and a light of hope was born inside me. After the tests, I was given medications and injections to prepare for IVF treatment. We returned to our home in Switzerland and stayed there until June.

Meanwhile, our communication never stopped; we were always in contact with my doctor. It felt like the longest winter of my life.

And June… We were back in Izmir. We had come only for 3 weeks. After a few procedures at İrenbe, the transfer was carried out within 2 weeks. I cannot describe that feeling—fear, joy, excitement, and waiting… We returned 4 days after the transfer. I even started working. My doctor had said, “The baby will adapt to you, not you to the baby.” I listened to her. After the anxious wait, on the 10th day I went for a blood test as soon as I woke up. They said, “You can get the result in 2 hours.” Time seemed to stop; it felt like the longest moments of my life. Then my phone rang and a voice said “positive.” I was on the street and started crying uncontrollably. Even now, as I write this, my eyes fill with tears. I used to say, “Can a person cry from happiness?” Apparently, they can.

I had a very comfortable pregnancy. My husband was my biggest supporter. He wouldn’t even let me carry my bag, let alone wash dishes. And so, our 9 months passed. During this time, I was always contacted by my doctor and the İrenbe team. We shared updates about my pregnancy. They never left us alone. Endless thanks to all of you.

And my little baby turned out to be a bit impatient. She was born on March 14, 2016, two weeks early. How can I describe it? When they placed my little girl, my angel, in my arms, the world stopped. Her voice, her scent—and I was reborn with my daughter. It was a cesarean birth. By noon the next day, I was already on my feet.

Seeing my daughter, touching her, smelling her took away all my pain. Words are not enough to describe what I feel for my Nazlı. She is my heart, the meaning of my life. Her father’s princess, the joy of our home. She is growing—she is already 19 months old. Now everything is much more beautiful. We thank İrenbe so, so much for making us feel this happiness.

With love...
