She was born in 1965 in Ankara.

In 1982, she graduated from Karsiyaka Gazi High School ranking first in class.

She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1988 ranking fifth in class.

In 1995, with the TUS examination, she started her specialization education at Ege University Medical Faculty, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Between 1992-1994, she did her clinical doctorate (Clinical Fellowship) in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fields in Sydney University Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Sydney IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) center and did her Research Doctorate (Research Fellowship) in Sydney University. In the second year of this time (1993-1994), she lectured to 5th class medicine students of Sydney University in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility of Gynecology and Obstetricscourses, and performed "Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility" Weekly Scientific Meeting Organization and Management, "Hysteroscopy Polyclinic" Organization and Practice. In 1993, her work was awarded by the AustralianFertility Society witht he "Young Scientist Best Research First Prize".

In 1995, shecompleted her specializationeducation in Ege UniversityMedicalFacultyDepartment of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In 1995, she started to work as an attending physician  in Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She became Assistant Professor in 1996 and Associate Professor in 2000.

In 2009, she became a professor at Balıkesir University Faculty of Medicine and was the founding president of theDepartment of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was in the Department of Surgery between 2009 - 2012. She took part in education of many students and assistants. In 2014, she was retired while serving as Head of the Department.

She is fluent in English and German and has more than 100 works published at home and abroad, 1 abroad book section, 2 domestic books ections and 12 domestic book translation sections.

She is married and has a daughter.
